The Essay Central

The Essays' section is a diferent aproach towards developing an information store. The aim is to develop a database of information right here, instead of dumping references from developers' guide, and from books, which are geek stuff anyway, this aproach involves getting programmers (and non-programmers) to provide a small essay (or an essay series) describing the topic in depth. This not only provides a different way to present things but also provides a different insight into things as the actual user/programmers see it. And believe me this aproach is much more easy to comprehend and more informative. And then you don't have to be very formal about things too.

Anybody can submit an essay on any topic be it Windows, Unix-Linux, Toolz, or any dumb -or- geeky computer related article. The only requirement being that it should follow the format as followed by this site, refrain from being illegal, though it is very difficult for me to decide wether it is so or not. It'll be my descrition to allow it to be on this site or not.

If you want to submit an essay, then save this template and fill in the essay as you want it to be. Remember, I may edit it a bit (just a little bit) to merge with the rest of the site, or to add comments and/or suggestions.

This section is the most unorganised section of all, it'll link to anywhere and everywhere on this site, just remember essays fall into various categories, many crossing various topic boundaries. So I have decided to keep the respective essays in their own respective section heads, but this sections links to them all.
